Skinning a coyote for full body mount

I have had my first successful coyote hunt (got two, in fact!), and now I need to know the best way to skin the animals in preparation for a mount. Specifically, what's the best way to do the feet, and around the face? Should the paws be tubed or split open? What about the pads? I have also heard I'm supposed to do something with the lips, but having trouble finding specific information. Thanks for any advice!

First off, congrats on the hunt and welcome to PM! To get two on your first successful hunt is great.

The easist way IMO would be to just bring the whole coyote in to your taxidermist and let him take care of it. If you've never done it before and are looking to keep these first coyotes of yours, let a professional do it instead of taking a risk of messing them up.

Like Moe said, your taxidermist would rather get them whole. He may want to make the main cut dependant upon what pose you pick in order to hide the stitch line. Everybody does things a little different and he would rather do it his own way. Take care and congrats on a successful hunt.
