Sling Stud for Magpul sliding stock?

I just put a six position sliding Magpul stock on my AR but it has no "stud" to attach my sling.

Is there an after market stud that can be adapted to the Magpul that allows me to attach a sling. Website or link would be very much appreciated.

Questions? PM me.

Thanks,

I had the same problem and would be interested in a way to do what you are asking. I gave up and went with the following system instead:

Think about using a Magpul MS3 Sling ( Multi-mission sling system) and adding the ambidextrous sling attachment to the buffer tube where it meets the lower receiver. Magpul ASAP (Ambidextrous sling attachment point) That works good if you have a rail at the end of the modular float rail on the barrel. They make some sling attachment ring that mounts onto a Picatinny rail. Magpul RSA (rail sling attachment).

Or you could just replace the Magpul adjustable butt stock with one that has the sling attachment quick release on it.

Their is also a type of sling that just wraps around the end of the Magpul and cinches in place. I had one of them at first but took it back to Gander Mountain.

I need to do the same thing. My stock, CTR. It has a hole to attach a mount, but I don't know which one. I also found this video on you tube which had another way:

I ordered my sling today (Blue Force Padded Vickers) so would like to get the mount figured out.

If you have the CTR you need a QD mount you just push on the end and it releases like a ratchet does they are nice.
