Hmmm. Hoss, I'm being nothing but honest when I say I think maybe you should slow down a bit. There are a few basic rules to reloading ammo that you may like to know. First of all, mentioning that you have your mind made up about what you are going to shoot through your rifle is good....but not by any means an absolute. It is often said that rifles are like women. They all have their preferences and until you learn to go with what they like, neither of you will be happy. YOU may like the 50's, but that doesn't mean she will.
Don't be fooled into thinking the first combo you put together will be the winner because the odds of that are not in your favor. From 25.0 to 27.0 grains is eleven different powder charges to try and that's if you only go on every other tenth of a grain (ie 25.0, 25.2, 25.4, 25.6 etc). Then there are primers. And different bullet weights. Then there are powders and that is a whole new topic. Add into that varying the distance off the lands and you could [beeep] near wear a barrel out just trying all the different possible combinations.
Take your time. Ask questions. And most importantly be safe.
