Small Rifle Primers - FYI

However, prices are going up and inventories are shrinking. When you go online and see $26/1000 double check that they have any in stock.

I bought 20,000 about 6 weeks ago in anticipation of this and bought another 10,000 last week. That should hold me along with my regular inventory for a year or two.

I figure the "anti's" are not going to get anywhere with a gun ban so they'll push through an ammo and primer tax. That's not protected by the 2nd.

Look at the taxes charged on tobacco products and additions to taxes to help smoking victims. Why not a tax of $0.05 per primer, either loaded or not, to offset healthcare costs for shooting victims? Not an unreasonable tact from my perspective.

I think an ammo/primer tax is a very unreasonable tact. However, reasonable and realistic are two different things. I think it is very realistic to think this will happen at some point in the future. A high probability of it eventually happening, even if it's not reasonable.

Did anyone hear read the 10 gun bills introduced to the house today? Most of them were anti-gun but not all. McCarthy introduced 4 and one of them did deal with online sales of ammo and notification of bulk ammo purchases. This alone will not let the firearm/ammo industry settle down anytime soon.

I don't think there will be any reasonable prices or inventory available until this is all hashed out.
