I was wondering which of the two would you chose if Santa gave you this choice ;-)

The M&P sports 20" bull barrel... the R15 got nice dipped finish...

YA! Cabela's Open Countary! My Fav!

I got rid of an AR with a 20 inch bull barrel that weighed around 13lbs. Replaced it with the R15 and i bet it weighs close to half as much. Although i just got around to sighting it in yesterday, i would say that she is a keeper. Didn't think the weight was going to be that much of a differance but i was wrong.

or you can trade with one of our sponsors. I'm having scottmilk build me a rifle:

http://www.specializeddynamics.com/node/7

going with 6.5 Grendel for this one.

He's not jacking up prices, just warning that it will take a few months to complete the build due to some of his parts suppliers.

I've been planning to buy one for about 3 years, already have an AR to hunt with & presently have no place to hunt, so I don't mind the wait.

We'll take care of getting the lower transferred to my ownership immediately, so I'll own it shortly, regardless of what nonsense they manage to pull off in DC.

I've been reading of people paying $3000 for $800 rifles. How stupid is that? Scott has one starting at $1100, for far less than $3K you can get a custom build. Why would anyone pay gouge prices for a low end stock rifle?
