Smith & Wesson vs. Stag vs. Bushmaster

Smith will eventually be producing everything in house for their ar15's if
they aren't already. A lot of their parts are held to mil-spec or better production even though they are not a mil-spec part. Such as the bolts.
Owning several of their revolvers I would trust their AR's more than anyones.
Their manufacturing plant is one of the oldest and best equipped in the world.
They have giant forges dating back to world war two and state of the art cnc machines. They spend about 10 million a year on upgrading machinery alone,
not including all the added machinery for the AR production.
This is the company that built the very first plastic gun. The management in
the sixties wasn't interested in the thing but they have some sharp people
working for them. Unlike colt, having it's bacon saved with a military contract
smith has always made it on quality and sales.

NO, I don't own one or plan on owning one.
