Sniper's Hide Site

Anyone who would like to check out a sight for advanced everything, [ reloading,shooting,equipment, on and on], check out "Sniper's Hide".
I have improved in my shooting practices and techniques in leaps and bounds. Very highly skilled posters. Saved me time and money. The reloading section is unbelievable too.

While I am a registered user at snipers hide. I have found PM to provide all the answers I need. I really enjoy it over here. PM IS WHERE ITS AT.
 
i'll pass on the 'hide...

it has been a couple years since i was last there, but when i last saw it, if you weren't a savage fan particularly loyal to the 308 win, you weren't a serious shooter.

glad you are finding use out of it. anything you learn to advance your own shooting and skills, and advance gun and hunting rights is good, regardless of source.
 
I think there is alot of military and SWAT type guys. I'm into bolt guns and I think they go alot for the AR platform. Good site, just Ford vs Chevy.....Brent
 
After reading the post, I ventured over there. Pretty tactical. I wasn't very impressed, but at my age, I don't impress very easy. I did see one avatar of a hot girl in a very small bikini bouncing her well endowed breasts. That kinda impressed me.
 
It's an excellent site, esp for serious shooting/rigs.

Lately, it's the same junk every week...


It isn't mainly AR ppl, I'd say bolts rule that forum.


If you want some good gear, their FS forums are excellent to snag some deals. I've snagged some excellent gear over the years from their.
 
Couple of things I learned was when shooting prone, "loading" the bipod, keeping the same cheek weld. Dry firing.
I missed so many yotes this year, I am really going to practice dry firing a lot.
 
243k, try attending an Appleseed shoot. In a weekend they will teach you comprehensive position shooting skills that will be a great foundation for any type of rifle shooting you do. All position (prone, sitting, kneeling, standing) and use of the loop sling. No bipods, sticks, benchrests, etc.

The hide is all about die hard Remington shooters. Savage shooters are like red-headed step children over there. Good info if you can tolerate the snide remarks I guess. Ditto on the 308 shooter too.
 
The Hide's a good site! You just need to be able to read through some of the BS, just like any site.

The 700 in 308 is the most popular tactical platform in the US, if not world. Wouldn't it make sense that on a site like "Sniper's Hide", that promotes tactical and long range target shooting. That it's going to be the most popular? A site like "the hide", is going to have a different demographic then say a predator hunting site. PM's a great site, but their are others out their also. Their just different!

Can you give me some directions on how to find that avatar?
 
I am on several sites and I did join SH yesterday. I try to learn from everybody since I have a lot to learn and little to teach. I am a 700 fan and a Savage/Stevens fan as well. I am actually doing research on a Long Range Shooter to build and can learn from everybody. Long Range Hunting and Nodak Outdoors are a couple other sites I am on. They all have a different purpose for me. I must say though, so far, I have learned more from this site about PH than any of the other sites I am on. When I first joined this site, I came in arrogant about the classifieds, got humbled and have enjoyed my experience since. The folks here are friendly too. Even if I disagree with sombody, its not a all out cyber war. This site is my fave by far. Happy Hunting.
