Sniper's Hide Site

The hides ok, you just need a thick skin and wade through the b.s. from the supermen hiding in their mothers basement.

There is a lot to learn there, the 20 1/2" dot target will improve your shooting for sure, and if someone wants to spend more money making their rem shoot like a out of the box savage, well thats their business. blue

At first I was thinking.....home made oven? How is that gonna do me any good. So I checked it out and ya, now I get it. Very nice avitar!!!!

Sniper's Hide is like a lot of others. Some good people you will like, a lot people you won't really care about either way, and a few that are the reason the ignore button was invented.

Some of the information about various problems that crop up is usally good but you do have to use your head. I've seen more than one "solution" to a problem that just sounds like it would only make the problem worse. Luckly they finally banned the joker that was the worst for doing that.

i use all sights for their specific genres.
If you want Suppressor info, go to SilencerTalk. Duh
SnipersHide is a great sight for professionals, ex and current military as well as LE and for people willing to take open minded criticism from the like.
I'm not going there to ask how to call coyotes...and I'm not coming here to discus the Desert Tactical SRS or the 375 CT for military and LE applications.

PM is a great forum
SnipersHide is a great forum
SilencerTalk is a great forum
LongRangeHunting is a great forum
AO2.org is a great forum
WSSMzone.com is a great forum

id be surprised if i could come up with a question that I cant find the answer to by visiting these sites.

each one has its pros and cons. yes...even this one.

Psycodog, I hate to stear you towards EVIL....but look at the Hot Girlfriends section under Field Photography. Be carefull, you'll go bilnd on page 200. Brent

Which joker was that?

I have now learned about several more sites. Thank you very much. It seems to me that web sites are like reloading manuals. To get an overall idea, you must have several, not just one.
I think the idea of members posting pics of their hot babes wouldn't be a bad idea. Kinda help pass the time till hunting season !! Help the overall morale of our troops so to speak.

After some reading through more pertinent forums, the knowledge base at the 'Hide should speak for itself. If that can't be noticed beyond the avatars of bouncing boobies, then I'd consider it your loss as a shooter...

One of the things I like best about the 'Hide is that the "type A"s over there who know their ABC's will happily throw the B.S. flag HARD when another member starts spouting off nonsense. I think that is to the benefit of EVERYONE else reading those posts who'd otherwise be digesting mis-information...

I know I sure appreciate it.

It is great when the BS flag is thrown. I have seen it happen several times over here. Like many of the responses you have to wade through BS and hostile personal opinions before ya get the answer you need. I prefer hangin with a crowd that wont rain a [beeep] storm down on some moronic thing I posted or just a silly question. Yes the classifieds are nice to review. In review Snipers Hide nice, I prefer to hang at PM:)

It looks like a decent site to me. I registered and will hang over there a little to see if I like it or not.

That's the thing about forums. You gotta hang out, find out who is reliable, and not believe everything you read.

Of all the forums I'm on. I think PM has the least bs of any.

Hey Dan, very interesting article. I'm going to try this out with my 25-06.

...you gotta do it with a Stryder knife on your hip though or it doesn't count.

Rowdyrawhide and any others interested in Appleseed,

Here is the Appleseed website:

http://www.appleseedinfo.org/

Click on the far left "Appleseed" button on the banner to find the schedule. RR, you'll note there is one coming up in Eureka KS next weekend and another there in July.

Click on the "RWVA Links" button to find our forum. You can register on there and ask further questions. On the lower right margin of the home page are links. Read the "What to bring" and "How to prepare" links carefully. Wear a long-sleeve collared shirt (to keep your neighbor's hot brass off your skin) and have your rifle zeroed dead-on at 25 yards/meters.
A .22 rimfire with detachable mags, GI web M1 sling, and easily adjustable aperture rear sight or a scope will work great for inexpensive learning on Saturday or for the whole weekend.

You'll be worked hard both days, but you'll learn all the required fundamentals for making a steady shooting position without sticks, rests, or bipods. And a good American history lesson to boot.

The Hot Girlfriends thread has over 4 Million hits alone.

I trained with a M14 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri back in the late 60's. The drill insrtructors would do untold things to us to put the shooter and spotter in different situations. That 308 round was a very accurate cartridge and could do damage at great distances. One fellow from Texas was "stone dead" with that 308. You wouldn't want to take a running start from his at 800 yards. You'd never make it 50 yards. I learned a lot about shooting at long distances there, and if I would have a M60 for my coyote gun, nothing within 1000 yards would have a chance. People put the M60 down, but I must have passed boxes of ammo on the range and that thing was deadly! But for me you can get more out of Predator Masters than anywhere else. These guys know what they are talking about. It's all they do and they are good at it.
