snow camo

I got some from cabelas, I got the lightweight version in all white. They are nothing special, but they go over all your heavy weight clothes and are easy to walk around in.

By the way, Are you in highschool?? I am a senior at new hampton.
 
Walmart, farm and fleet, or fleet farm in your area. I found the plain white works the best. Just get some cheap cover ups to go over your good winter camo. Saves some serious cash. The warmest suit I have I bought was from cabelas. Its a goose down coverall that I throw my whites over. I have fallen asleep on the ground in below zero weather with this suit. They run around $200 minus the white of course. Dont forget your La Crosse Iceking boots too. You can come down to the factory outlet store and pick up those $140 boots for around $68 usually. I've used white nylon mil surp whites over my Carhart Parka and bibs. It has worked well.

I'm always looking for something better, and I trhink I've found it.

I have the 4in1 parka in snow ghost and it is the cat's patoot!! I also have the bib coveralls.

It is windproof/waterproof and breathable. Very comfortable and blends in well. I'll get some field pics this week.

I'm so impressed with it that I will be carrying it in Canada. Anyone that knows me, knows that it has to work and take a lot of abuse for it to have a place in my truck. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
 
Redfrog's right it's great looking stuff. Just got a hooded jacket today. Really nice. Like the water and wind proof features. Need that here when the wind blows which seems like always. Going to try it out tommorrow. Also bought the face mask. Fits real good with lots of visibility. Room for a stocking hat under it if needed.
 
Ebay has some good buys on nattygear snow. I like using my coveralls for any type of hunting and slipping over XXL camo coverings to fit the situation.
 
We don't get a ton of snow where I live so I just took a white hospital blanket, folded it in half and cut a slit in it for my fat head to pop through, works and was cheap enough.
 
Untreated tyvek painting cover-ups off e-bay. Buy in bulk and they cost about a buck apiece! Just buy your regular camos, then the cover-ups make your regular hunting togs snow camo! (Plus, they weigh about 1/2 oz apiece, and ball up to about the size of your fist.)
