Some states allow shooting from the vehicle. Here you can shoot from the bed of the vehicle but there can't be anyone inside the vehicle. You can also prop on the vehicle but both feet must be on the ground and the engine turned off. In Texas, they do a lot of predator hunting from raised platforms in the back of trucks.

When I solo hunt I use a high rack in my pickup and a tripod to hold my light. I works well and no walking.
