Basic mental health assessments look at how individuals deal with reality. One of the most basic realities is recognizing what sex you are. It must be incredibly confusing when children are taught it is OK too not realize their male/female body and that they can change with no side effects(or parents knowledge). The drug therapy required has known side effects, a common one is suicidal thoughts. Not surprising that trans individuals are committing murder/suicide attacks on children/schools. Just as when education removes consequences/punishment of students that break rules/norms of west culture, all students lose quality education. Reduce law enforcement/increase crime. Look at Dearborn Mi.

You're right, but It is all orchestrated by the enemies of our country to weaken our culture and society. Shut down the resources oil, gas and coal, in the name of the phony climate change scam, get everyone hooked on drugs, allow unlimited immigration, keep our country engauged in non-stop conflicts and wars around the world to depleate our military resources, manipulate and weaken the dollar, and turn the next generations into basketcases who are unsure of their own identity. A people who are confused about their own identity and gender aren't going to be able to acomplish anything great let alone be able to defend their country from the enemy. Non-stop anti-American propaganda, rhetoric, and disinformation in the all the mainstream news outlets..tv, radio newspapers and the big corporate hollywood entertainment industry.
I know that sounds pretty wild, but hopefully people come to the realization soon. It is 5the generation warfare to collapse our country from the inside out.

Don't get me started on the idiocy of going back prior to '68 to make a record. The CGA 68 was to start that in 1968 not before. crap I'm getting started let me stop right here.

I'm not trying to start any controversy, spread disinfo or conspiracy theories with this, but is it just me or does it seem like he wasn't shot with a 30/06.
It doesn't seem like he took a hit from a 30/06 to me.

All I think I know is that there is no way this kid broke a bolt action rifle down, stuffed it in a backback that was way smaller than the barrel assembly and the custom stock, then ran down the street reassembled the rifle and left it in a cardboard box wrapped in a towel. On all of this I cry BS!

Republic World (some off the wall news group out of India) IIRC did show /post the video footage uncensored with closeup of him being shot... As horrible as it was, I guess the Old Soldier in me, forced me to evaluate the footage literally frame by frame. I've seen /observed thousands of 30-06 round with the vapor trail (trace) via a spotting scope and well as other calibers. The 308 and 30-06 is very similar especially at 200 yards, a 5.56 is distinctly different in the trace / shockwave. I watched the video with it's differing angles frame by frame. In one frame right as he closed his eyes a distinct trace (shockwave) appeared. Next frame showed the entrance wound (before any actual blood spray).the following frames depicted the blood spray etc etc brutal graphic to say the least (this angle was straight head on looking at Charlie Kirk at the moment of bullet impact). I do not doubt the projectile was a 30 caliber, can I state as a "expert" that it came from a 30-06 no, but I don't doubt the LEO's statement on caliber. As what I observed was the same as I have observed in the past with the huge shockwave similar to the 30-06.
And no I am not of the opinion that you are attempting anything other than a attempt to have a understanding of this tragic event Sir.
In the past few days youtube has finally put a age restriction on the video when I stumbled across it it went into the shooting in the most graphic horrid details. I suppose my only reason to view this terrible event frame by frame is like you I was trying to understand it. I'm still terribly disturbed by the loss of a young man's life that could have easily been a son of mine ( or many or rather other gentlemen on this site).
Since he was shot I've scoured the internet for video relating to the event and the shooter. I did find the footage as you will, if you search of shooter running from the rooftop. In that video he is clearly carrying in his hands what appears to me something wrapped in a large towel or blanket as he dismounts the roof. As his feet hit the ground the shape remains rigid as he jumps to the ground I can only assume a rifle or similar item is being covered. As he makes his way to the wood line.
I have a suspicion / thought how he got the rifle there. And a back pack wasn't it, even though he is wearing a backpack. Now could he have staged the rifle in the exact place in the wood line he dumped it in a cardboard box. Yes, he could have very well used the exact tactics of Lee Harvey Oswald, whom in fact carried his rifle intact covered by a blanket into the book depository days before the Presidential motorcade that fateful day in Dallas. So yeah staging in the woodline would make more sense than leaving a rifle cardboard box containing a rifle on a roof to be found days before the event.
Unless we are either lucky or unlucky enough to sit on the jury. None of the facts /evidence will be released that makes any sense until trial. No prosecutor will reveal all the facts before the trial .
The only way truly for us know is through a FOIA release of the court transcript.
Trust the news media to promote disinformation, untrue statement by individuals as a truth, and provide a political spin on a tragedy. They have been doing that for over 100 years. (which fully explains why many have the exact questions and thoughts that ya'll propose). Remember they first touted he was a MAGA because his parents voter registration selection. Until it was proven to be a lie they never backtracked or apologized.
Trust the Prosecutors' and the State and other LEO's doing the investigating / procecuting to hold a LOT of fact and evidence "close to the chest", and not release it until the trial.
I am not involved nor have any links into this other like many searching for a answer WHY!! These are my opinions as of right now. At this point, it's up to court system .
personally if I was on the jury and was convinced the suspect was guilty I would probably recommend firing squad, as I know it can be used in lieu of lethal injection in Utah (yeah I looking it up).
Do I think he made the shot exactly where he was aiming ? no I suspect he intended to shoot him in the chest region, and the bullet went high and right for wind. But again just a opinion.
Thank you both for your thoughts on the matter. You may accept or reject what I have replied with that is your right. I could be wrong merely posting what I see from my "foxhole" aka view point.

Sgt Mike, I have watched the video dozens of times. I even posted it to this thread on 9/12. There is no rifle in view at any time. The towel or what ever he has in his hand is freely flowing when He climbs over the wall, drops to the ground and runs away. It is actually hang down and flowing freely as he runs across the grassy area.
The overall length of the Mauser he is to have been carrying is over 48" long which would make it very obvious. When he hits the ground and starts to run he dropped something, then he turned back picked it up and ran. What ever he picked up was small, about the size of a cell phone. Now, unless the storyline has changed, we are told that he broke down the rifle and stuffed it into his backpack.
I do appreciate your thoughts, I have just come to a different conclusion.

First off, condolences to the family and his many friends, we all share in the loss of this fine young man in the prime of his life. Never has the phrase "We are diminished" been more true! Sad day for America.
Have not seen the video, other than a very brief one taken from 45* rear. Having spent a few hours on various ranges behind a spotting scope, I'll take Mike's observations and conclusions, based on the other video and information available to the public as fact.
Absolute fact!
A couple of observations of the escape from the roof: Based on the fact that a screwdriver was found on the roof, there is no reason to doubt that the rifle was assembled and/or disassembled on the roof. A Mauser barreled action would only be about 30" long, as is the length of the normal sporter stock. If the rifle was removed from stock and re-assembled on the roof, that could contribute to a slightly different POI, as well. No mention if the rifle was assembled when found.
As Mike stated, lots of blanks in the available information, as is always the case before trial. Time will tell, in the meantime, RIP Charlie Kirk.
