Lol I kind of want to try this latest, greatest powder, but my powder cabinet is half full of half full cans of the last dozen latest greatest powders.

The numbers look good, good speeds anyway. Temp stability and metering of a ball powder is a real bonus if it works.

So anyway, yeah try it in 243 with 87 gr vmax please and let me know lol. Thanks in advance.

I read a temp stability test done on this powder, I think it was over on accurateshooter, and it's still fairly temp sensitive stuff.

Based on the calibers I have tried it in, the stated velocities are high. It had low SD numbers and shot very good though.

Based on the above middle video, SatBal6.5(0.74) is nearly the same temp sensitivity as H100V(0.78).
That same video places H4350(0.16) better than Varget(0.19), which is questionable.
Take away for me is Varget, H4350 and even H100V remain my preference vs new StaBal 6.5

I've seen quite a few different temp sensitivity tests done on a variety of powders and the two that always test with the least amount of variation, is H1000 and H4350. Those two powders are some of, if not, the most temperature, insensitive, of all the powders on the market.

All of the Hodgdon "Extreme" powders are pretty good and usually test better than the others, but H1000 and H4350 are always the two that test the best.

Interesting. I've been using H4350 in 243's for over 30 years. It almost always shoots well. It just didn't give me the speed I was looking for this time, but RL17 is working great so far. I don't have a lot of it though so will probably switch back to h4350 when I run out, or try to use up the Superformance, RL22, 760, etc that I have stashed.

H4350 and Varget are two staples for sure. I am lucky enough to have a few pounds of each, and almost ordered more last night when powder valley showed them both in stock.

I didn’t keep any of the data but I believe it was CCI BR4 primers

A friend has loaded some in .22-250 and the speeds weren't as great as stated, groups were ok.
Not sure if he went over max.
8208 has done better so far.
