Does anyone have any experience hunting Bobcats in June , July, Or August in south Texas. Just wondering if it was worth my time. What is their fur like then. Any info at all would be appreciated. I am a member of PETA. (People for the Eating of Tasty A

wayne - This question would be better served in the "Predator Hunting" so I'm going to move it up there. I know its confusing but this forum is for PM and other large hunt gatherings.

I'll lock this here and leave it for a few days and remove it.

Wayne,

I call bobcats all year in south, central, and west Texas. Look at the Memorial Day Bobcats thread. Their fur does not vary as much as the canines do. I don't know if you are asking because you are in Texas or planning a trip here. Either way, good hunting!

Welcome to Predator Master's. The best BB on the net, IMHO. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
I'm by no way a Master yet but I would do a search on cat hunting and read everything it brings up to get a better grip on what to expect and how to do it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Good Hunt'n and God Bless.

Two years ago in late June I went on a guided night hunt in Three Rivers (that is what hooked me on this sport).

I got lucky and shot a bobcat that night. I had the pelt done and it looks pretty durn good. Hope that helps.........
