SOUTHERN OHIO HUNTERS Speak up Please

Well fellas doesnt look like its going to work out for me..Ive been holding off posting this to see if any of my buddies would come through but no one can make it, too long of a drive to do bymyself that early. I am in high hopes that everything goes great for you guys and maybe we can do a southern ohio hunt # 2 next fall or something. Good luck tho, knock em dead!
 
Hay foxy not sure but the last time i looked the diner was right off 33 but they could have named it something else also sometimes when you get into a town there is 2 names for one road,I don't think you will have any trouble finding it Nelsonville is really not all that big.

We should give the coffee cup a free advertisement on hear for helping us out. I will be bringing 2 buddies we are leaving at 3 am sun. do they have any snow down there wanting to know what camo to bring i am bringing both but just wondered.
 
This will be my first time hunting coyotes in OH. Are there any regulations about what gun or ammo we can use for coyotes in OH?? I plan to bring my AR in .223. Want to be sure I'm legal!

no snow,so regular cammies are good,the drive will still be a go.if you those hand held radios or cb keep it on channel 5 and holler if you get lost in the mornin.i am looking forward to meeting everyone,anyone needs a ride from chillicothe, pm me,i got room for 2 more.....................coyotex
 
a 223 will be fine,i will be using a 243.the plan on hogs is low powered weapons for the drive,basically everything but high powered rifles will be goood.,,,,,of course if ya see one while calling.....smoke him. hope that helps on gun selections...........questions pm me. coyotex

I am hoping to pare up with some one else also. I do have a fx-3 if needed. I also have room for 3. I am located 20 miles north of columbus on state route 23.

Forcast says snow overnight and 30% chance of snow tomorrow.29 degrees....i think the ground will be too warm for the overnight snow to stick.....i will have name tags at the coffee shop,,so all of are names wont be "hey you".hope everyone that can make it does,,,,,its only hours away.
 
ok so my buddy just called me and said he has to take is son to the hospital he is really sick so he prob cant go and he was the one with the good running truck to get us down there so i dont know if we can make it we are trying to find a nother truck to drive if we find one we will be there at 6:00 am if not good luck to all that get to hunt and be safe.
 
Ok since we are meeting at 6:00am, are we going to give people who are traveling a little bit of time because My mapquest is telling me differnt than what my buddies mom is telling me.

Shes telling me it takes 2 1/2 hours to get to Nelsonville, Mapquest tells me its like an 1hour and 43 minutes or something like that. Plus its giving me different directions.


Are we going to leave a little time for traveling difficulties?

I am just guessing, but i would say it will be 7 or close to it by the time we leave to coffee cup.so there will be some time for late comers.
 
What are we doing for lunch? Should we bring something or is there someplace close to grab a bite?
