Hi all,
I have a real nice crow call I got from rainshadow last Spring. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
I tried it a few times this Fall/Winter, as a "confidence" sound.
Problem is, I don't speak crow /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif...I only know the "Caw..Caw..Caw" sound. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif
But I don't know if this means something like, "Hey, I found food", or if it actually is a warning sound. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Does anyone know of a place that has instructions/explanations of crow sounds? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif
Or can anyone explain them to me? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

I'm asking this now, so that I have all Spring/Summer to practice & learn. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Just trying to add a little something new to my stratagies. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Thank you, in advance!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

Crowbusters.com..small but great dedicated crow killing site.
Youll be suprised at what youll learn.
They also have a store that sells pretty much the best crow calls made.

from what i understand(which is very little) three consecutive caws in a row is a warning sound and i know it seems to scare the other crows away. but that same sequence is what i use as a locator for turkeys too.

but thats about all i know so maybe it helped and maybe it didnt. oh well
