Spotlight w/cord?

Yellowhammer !!!!! 40 dollars for a Varmint Special??? You must have looked at the light at the Army Navy surplus Shop there in Lufkin??????

I saw one there and they wanted 36 for it. I came back to Center and complianed to a friend at K.C. True Value and he ordered me one and I only paid 26 for it. Only problem is it took a crap on me tonight while trying to shoot a coon. it is only ayear old. Don't know if it is the light or the 5 year old switch that I put in place of the original?????

Also don't be fooled into thinking it doesn't get hot enough to melt something as it will. Being a 200,000 candle power it just takes longer to get that hot. If you don't believe me I'll show you the cover on the light itself /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif It got turned on accidently and didn't know it till I tried to crank my truck and the battery was dead the next morning!!!!!!!

It doesn't get as hot as the 400,000 and 500,000 + candle power lights though. Some of those got hot enough to melt my hand when used continous in the summer..... YEOOOOOOOOOWWWWW

I do plan on getting over there to meet you and to hook up and go hunting. My work schedule is hectic since I started driving for this new company. Fast and furious!!!! The get together that you guys are talking about sounds interresting. I'd love to make that if my schedule works out.>>>>>>>>James L.

James- I got the $40 from the Brinkman site listed earlier in the thread. Yea, I'm looking forward to killing some varmits.

Randy- I think you're right the hood may be the way to go. Any suggestions on how to make one? I don't think the light I have offers a hood. You can look at the SHO-ME link up the thread to see the light I'm talking about.

Yellowhammer, I use a piece of 6" lightwall PVC pipe. Just cut it about 8 to 10" long, paint it black, and slip it over the light. I run a couple of small screws into the side to help hold it as well. Some people use one of those big coffee cans. The PVC is my choice...Randy
