catkill, yes the scopes are very nice I have one in the 30MM tube with built in range finder III gen. its sweet! I feel you will be very happy with one. I am.

I've got the 4.5 X 14 Government .223 rangefinding reticle and it's OK for long range stuff but is really lacking for short range. The nice thing is that it will range at any magnification, the bad thing is that the crosshairs get very, very tiny when you dial in to low power mag. Returns to zero pretty well, and did pretty good on the box test. All in all it's a pretty good scope. Go to SWFA http://www.riflescopes.com/, they've got good prices on Springfield scopes.
