Stag arms lefty BCG shipping lead times?

I just ordered a Gibbz left hand side charge upper and was planning on ordering a Stag lefty bolt but I noticed a tab on their sit that says shipping lead time is 3weeks. [beeep]? Does this apply to components or is it just for rifles? That seems insane if it takes 3weeks to box up a BCG and ship it out. Any other vendors for Stag bolts? Or a different brand of quality LEFTY BCG?

Google searching FA vs SA vs Low mass BCG yields far too much contradiction to make a decision. My objective would be to minimize felt recoil, which some say it does while others say it's the Low mass BCG that lowers felt recoil. Some say it makes no difference at all. Thanks for the links though. Do you have first hand experience with FA vs SA BCGs?

I have more than a few of each. I personally can't feel much difference in the FA vs the lighter SA versions. If you want to control recoil impulse somewhat the adjustable gas block is a very viable option that can certainly be utilized to your advantage.

I feel the extra mass of the FA makes it feel slightly smoother, just like a a longer gas system will help, to me and does lend itself to having an increased pressure drop vs the quicker opening SA.That always helps when you are running full bore top end loads. Swipes and ejector marks are decreased somewhat.

What Greg said. I can't say as I pay enough attention to tell the difference. I even have a Colt bcg that has the bottom part of the back cut off. They all have worked fine to me. Any more you're seeing more FA available than anything else, just like it seems most collapsible stock buffer tubes are now mil-spec vs the commercial size tubes.
