I have had a pair of the 8x30 for about 2 years. they are the ones that go with me 90% of the time. light, compact, clear, and bright. great in low light.
My dad is 73 and has a set of Steiner 12x56's. He has failing eyesight, but says he really likes them. He also uses a very well worn set of Zeiss 10x42 armored that have hunted all over this country My brother has a set of Steiner Peregrine 10x42 and really likes them. I have a set of Kahles camo 10x42 and they are really good binoculars as well. I've been contemplating a set of Steiner Predator Pro 8x22 for something compact to experiment with.
