Got one on the way. How are they out the box? Take about 100 rounds to settle em down? Plan on painting the stock, and doing the trigger first thing!

On my Steven's in .243 I did the trigger with a Rifle Basix Sav-2. Worth every penny. Pull is measured at 1.5# now.

Rifle is accurate with hand loads as well as factory loads.

Can't go wrong.

I have one and love it. I glass bedded it and did a trigger job, (adjusted the pull and honed the sear) and it shoots just fine. Trigger pull is a little heavy at about 4 pounds but it breaks clean. I always planned on using it as a truck gun but it shoots so well I painted it in white camo and made it my winter snow gun. I'm using the cheap MidSouth 55 grain varmint extreme soft points and H380 and groups are consistantly under an inch.

i like both of my stevens 200's, did the triggers my self pretty comfortable now. i have one in 243 that i load 85 sierra bthp's with varget and can shoot one hole groups and the .22-250 i have loaded with 52grn speer hp's in front of benchmark and they are one hole and fast as [beeep] havent cronoed yet but if my math is rite about 3770fps. i am thinking of getting another one in a different calliber to mess with.
