Stevens 200 .223 in youth stock

Hi guys,

I have a question. Does Stevens make a 200 in a .223 in a youth stock. Just searched the web site and no mention of a youth model? Will I just have to have a stock cut down from a factory stock? My wife wants a youth stock and her own .223. She loves my Stevens 200 but it is to long for her. She is 5 feet 3 inches and has short, stumpy arms about 6 inches (Ha Ha) long. Her fingers look like half of a toothpick stuck in an orange. She love to shoot. Trying to work her up to my H&R .243. If she shoots that, then I'm done. It will be another gun cabinet just for her stuff.

Thanks,

Savage has several models with a "youth" stock. With the Savage you get the added advantage of the accutrigger.

Good luck

You can find Savage youth stocks and they will fit the Stevens 200, or you can cut down Stevens stock as there is plenty of material there. I have done both. I'm 5'7" and have short arms.
