I changed the spring and it helped it out. It runs pretty good for a hunting rifleDid you stay with the Ruger trigger? The stock trigger isn’t bad, but I swapped my Gen 1 6.5 CM trigger for a two-stage Timney. Turned out to be a very nice upgrade to an already fantastic rifle.
I am shooting the same load. Out of my TC Venture 204 ruger. I have killed a bunch of hogs with that load.Yes the .204 Ruger is an inherently accurate cartridge for sure. Mine is a CZ Model 527 American and the best load I’ve found is H4895 and 35 grain Bergers at close to 3900 fps. Here’s a 3 shot group with it.
