yep. good heavy needle and dental floss.baseball stitchem and hitchem. I honestly have sewed up worse than that. A couple of guys that used to hunt with me (coyote and fox with dogs) used to use a 30.06 with deer loads...spent a lot of time stitchen them up. It is worth it to stitch up the fox. Nice color.
I just use a baseball stich like in the pic with dental floss. I like waxed floss as it locks in the stiches as your sewing and isnt as prone to coming loosening up. I have to flesh my coyotes, cats and fox. They're as fatty as some coon. But Im awful gentle near the hole. After fleshing I do any sewing then into the washing machine and on the stretcher.
With long hair fur you can hide a pretty big hole. You can sew that fox easy. Its gunna take a few min but it shouldnt show. Big thing is to make sure theres no blood around the hole cause thats just asking someone to poke around there.
the stitched cut doesn't roll up when done? I used to sew like that and an old furbuyer saw it right away, then showed me how to do it so it wouldn't roll up.
