I am in love with the Magpul ACS stock. I have replaced all
of my A2 butt stocks with either CAA CBST or Magpul ACS
stocks, and all new stock upgrades going forward will be
Magpul ACS stocks. They are quiet, have some storage for
optics batteries, and are Magpul tough. And the charging
handle slides over the stock when collapsed. Why collapsing
stocks? They allow you to quickly adapt the rifle to different
shooters, different situations, and different clothing
thicknesses. Fixed stocks like the A2 or the Ace would not
be a choice for me. The Magpul PRS might be a good choice
for a dedicated target/colony varmint rifle, where situations
and shooting positions are relatively consistent.
As for grips, some Ergos are fine, and I like the CAA grip
than comes with three different inserts to tune it to a more
comfortable grip for different hand sizes. You might want to
fondle a few before making this purchase.
