Stock suggestions please

Guys I would like some input or suggestions on a stock for my RRA varmint. I've been looking at the RRA operator A2 or the ace skeleton. I use this gun To hunt with mainly so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cant get much more solid of a stock then the Ace, love mine. That said take a look at Magpul Moe Rifle stock, I just ordered it for my new build. It was either the RRA fixed Operator or the Magpul. Chose the Magpul cause I found the RRA kind of cheesy and cheap when I looked at it at the local GS.

I'm thinking fixed. I've had adjustables comb/lop on my trap guns and once you miss it starts playing mind games with you and you instantly want to adjust. I'm just sick of the factory stock.

similar experience here. The UBR is hard to beat. That said I've got an ACE on a hunting rig and like it.

If you have an existing A2 it couldn't be easier. Remove one slotted screw, remove the old stock watching out for the take down pin spring. Now slide the new stock over the buffer tube, again taking care not to bind the takedown pin spring, and tighten the new slotted screw. If you're replacing a collapsible you'll have to replace the buffer tube, spring and buffer, but it's still a piece of cake.

As to which one, I just replaced the std A2 on one of mine with an RRA A2 Operator and love it. Great cheek weld, good balance, and the butt plate/pad doesn't hang up on your clothes. At the same the I finished off another lower with a Magpul MOE fixed. The two a very similar, the big difference being the MOE is A1 length, about 5/8" shorter than the A2.

ive got both ACE SOCOM stocks, "short" length on my 223 and "long" lenght on my 204.....they are adjustable and are stout as a rock once you get them into the position you want.....you can have your cake and eat it too with them.

here are the 2 different versions

The Ace are nice, but after a while the foam starts to get chewed up (it can be replaced, but I just hate messing with stuff) The Magpul STS or CTS are among my favorites. The basic old A2 is my all time favorite, super tough, pretty good cheek weld, shoulders quick, good ballance, and it's the cheapest thing you can get.
