If in stock go for it, but if not in stock you got to wait a long time and your credit card will be charge the day you order. Any order not in stock is considered a custom order.

Bringing a topic up from months ago but I am in the process of my first savage build and just ordered a Tundra deluxe..
I have never owned a thumbhole stock so I dont know what to think yet..

I have so far ordered a Sav-1 trigger, Tundra deluxe stock, Mcgowen 30 inch 6mm ai with a 10 twist. will be on a Stevens 200 LA

The wife is getting tense with all the purchases and soon to be purchases!

If it is in-stock, I wouldn't think twice about ordering
a stock from Stocky. If he has to order it, I would not
believe the estimated ship time. I got a 8 to 12 week
ship time, and IIRC it was 16 weeks, or more. Fortunately
I didn't need it sooner than 16 weeks. Oh, and when you
place an order for an out-of-stock stock, he charges your
card, at the order time, with a "No Cancel" policy clearly
stated on his site. So once you pull the trigger on an
out-of-stock order, you are stuck waiting until delivery.

So my advice is stick with in-stock purchases, and you will
enjoy doing business with Stocky. Out-of-stock purchases...
Not so much.

+1...

I couldn't cancel 5 minutes after an order the other day. It pissed me right off...

I'll never order from them again...

The one I had originally ordered showed up as backordered right when I hit send, I called them and said I want to cancel the lady said they had a similar one in stock and could change the order no problem...
