I got a big problem.I was siteing in my 2000 this afternoon I just put a holosight on it and was patterening some #4 buck anyhow first shot the spent shell never ejected so I started to look over the gunt here the extractor busted.I contacted stoegar and a new one is on the way my question is how do I get the broke one out to install the new one,I have no idea the gentleman on the phone said I need to take the pin out and exchange the extractor.I can not find what pin he is talking about.

If I remember corectly there is a dow type pin that holds the extractor in the bolt head. I think it can be pushed out with a punch or similar small tool.
I assume you know how to get the bolt assembly out. If not I can help with that.

Sorry about your troubles. My 2000 had a lot of jamming problems until it broke in but now seems fine.

Pull the bolt out of the gun. Pull the firing pin retaining spring. Pull the firing pin out the back. Pull the locking head pin out. (note it's orientation...when you go to put it back in, the hole has to align so the firing pin goes through it.) Pull the rotating head and inertia spring will also come out of the bolt body.

Now you're ready to replace the extractor. Put the head in a padded vice. Drive out the roll pin (shown in pic at the top of the bolt head under the "E" in Extractor). Replace extractor, drive roll pin back in and put everything back together.

EDITTED TO CORRECT PROCEDURE...

take the cap off the end of the magazine tube. Remove the barrel and forend. Pull the bolt handle straight out, it just snaps into the bolt. (LEAVE THE TRIGGER GROUP IN..NO NEED TO TAKE IT OUT.) The bolt and carrier/spring should come right out the front where the barrel is and off the magazine tube. Check your manual for field stripping instructions. It's really pretty simple.
