Stoger 2000 ???

Yep, I have one and for the 379 bucks it has turned out to be a pretty good shotgun. It is not a Benelli nor is it made by Benelli like many people think. It's similar/same as the Benelli M1 action and is made in Turkey not Italy.

The stock on the otherhand is cheap but functional. Mine has been used on a few goose hunts this year and has performed flawlessly. There were some issues with the earlier models but from what I have read and witnessed of mine, the newer ones are doing well. If you get one, be sure to buy a Limb Saver recoil pad for it right away, these inertia guns will beat on you some with heavy loads.

So far I'm very pleased and I "might" consider buying another one but parts could be a problem.

I understand if you need parts they can be a long time in getting to you. If money is tight you may want to consider a Mossberg 930 or the 935 or a used 11-87, used Beretta or Winchester SX2 I think getting parts is much easier if you have a problem.
I also have the Mossberg 935 and it's been a realiable shooter aswell.

I have had mine for a year. the first time i shot skeet with it, it jammed. i found out it does not like remington target loads. it eats everthing else i feed it from dove loads to duck loads to turkey loads and pheasent loads. yes i would buy another one. i am very pleased

Anyone here have a Stoger 2000 in 12ga? If so, how do you like it and would you buy another?

I bought one less than a year ago and so far so good. I haven't shot it a lot, but it has performed flawlessly shooting quail and pigeons while training a German Short Hair pup (not mine). The price was right and it worked well so I also bought a Condor Supreme 12ga o/u which works well also, although I have only used it to shoot clays. As a matter of fact I now have a Stoeger Coach Gun Supreme with 20 inch barrels ordered and plan to stick a couple of Carlson's Dead Coyote chokes on it if it ever gets here. It was supposed to have been my Christmas present.

I have the m2000, shot the heck out of it this fall on crows and waterfowl, never had a jam, i love mine, would definitely recommend them...mine came with a turkey choke also, im tempted to use it instead of my 835 ultrmag this spring!

The fit and finish of the gun is not very good. It is a guarantee that it doesn't like light loads as well as a gas gun. Will you have a problem? Who knows. I use my m2000 for everyday shooting such as squirrels, rabbits, pigeons, etc... It is not a dedicated anything gun, but I have shot nearly everything with it. Not a bad gun for the money.
