Stoney point bipod part help.

I have the stoney point rapid pivot bipod and have been through 4 Y yokes. A while back there was a thread and somebody listed a part number to order the yoke. Can anyone help me out with this thread or part number?

After reading a little more, I see primos may have bought this design. I hope they have Y yokes. I have 3 bipods and 3 sets of mounting hardware but only 1 Yoke that isn't broken. I usually wouldn't stand for a piece of equipment that breaks like this but this bipod is just to perfect for my type of calling.

Thanks for any help.

Might I suggest getting the clamshell adapter off of amazon. It will let you use bipods, tripods etc with 1/4"x20 thread studs which most have. I have all of my hunting guns equipped with the Stoney point quick release. But use various bipods that don't have the weak link of the rubber yoke

Stoney point could have hit a home run with this but went with the rubber yoke. Thanks to the adapter you can still have an unbeatable setup

I have 3 or 4 sets with the black (not grey) rubber yoke, never an issue. Never heard of the the "clamshell adapter". Care to enlighten us?

Do you have a link or something like that. Im not sure what your talking about. I put clamshell adapter in the amazon search engine but saw nothing that looled like it was for a bipod. Hey cmatera, any chance you wanna sale one of those bipods with the good rubber yoke?

The picture in the search listing is what you want. However, when I open the ad it shows the sling swivel stud adapter. Might have to email the seller and find out which part they are actually selling. The price is in line with what I paid for both of mine. I'm out of town this weekend but when I get home I'll try to get a pic up of the adapter. Like I say though, the initial pic is of the part you need, but the description shows a pic of the sling swivel part.

2nd item down on the page it brings up. I'm on my smart phone so it's tough to show you.

It's the item pictured on the left in this listing. Once again make sure that it's included. If it includes all that is shown that's a pretty good deal. How it works is that adapter is threaded on one end to screw onto the studs that are on most bipods etc. once you take off most tops on promos trigger sticks, or in the case of the Redhead adjustable bipods like I have you expose the stud. Screw it on and the other end is the quick pop on pop off end that is like the end of the Stoney point bipods. I have two purchased from Amazon and can't live without them.

Got it. It's the Monopod attachement, which I have. The clamshell is the packaging and has nothing to do with what's in it.

Not sure why I was thinking clam but yes part# RPM-102 is the mono pod attachment. If I can find my stoney point sticks somewhere I will let somebody have them for the cost of shipping. I use the long ones at night so I can bring my gun up to the right height when kneeling. I found the adjustable redheads from bass pro work good for the money. The stoney points with my RR predator Pursuit were just too flimsy with the rubber yoke to want to keep the gun upright. They worked ok with my lighter savage edge but it was just easier to go with a different bipod to cover both scenarios.

I'll look around, but I don't remember seeing my stoney points for several years now. I'll take another dedicated search and if I find them they can go to a deserving individual.
