Strap-on/tie on cheek piece for stock?

I find that I shoot much better with Monte-Carlo style stocks, I think because of the way the cheek piece fits against my face.

Can anyone recommend an add-on type piece that I could put on my A-Bolt stock to make it more like a Monte-Carlo style stock?
The ones I've seen advertised http://www.cheeknstock.com/main.html say they're to keep recoil from punching the shooter's face...that ain't my problem - proper cheek weld is.

Any suggestions?

I hear ya. Very important on moving targets. I work for a rubber company and have access to a lot of stuff that works well. On synthetic stocks I glue a piece of closed cell sponge to the stock, shape it with some 80 grit sandpaper, and cover it with a neopreme stock cover. On wooden ones that are nice I do the same thing w/o the glue. You have to live with some slippage w/o the glue. Not only gives a custom fit, really takes the sting out of magnum rifles and shotguns. You can get this stuff at any industrual rubber house. They also have special cold vulcanizing cements like SC2000 that will NOT pull off or peel. You can also build up a fiberglass stock with Bondo and repaint it you want it to look factory. But it must be glass, not injection molded plastic.

I have the same problem on a couple of my guns. But i found a place that sells thumbhole high comb laminate stocks fairly inexpensivly. That is the route that I plan to pursue.
