streamlight ultrastinger

Bearmanric, I live in Sequim. Been out about 5 times so far this season, no hide or hair. Pretty sure I had a Bobcat watching me in one spot (consistent rustling behind me), and a coyote in another (barked at me from the reprod 200 yd away.) Found coyotes, at least 3 Bobcat, and 1 maybe 2 lions by their tracks. Itching to get out again! Bought a Tree Lounge this season. Slows down the time between stands, but boy does it ever increase the visibility in the thick! Wife doesn't like me 90 feet off the ground, but MAN can you ever see more gound in this stuff with it!

Keep your powder dry! - - Steve

I've bowhunted elk in the Clearwater. Awesome country, too much of it ONP, but TONS of game, also thick as dog hair! Haven't been to Skokomish. Tons of country up here, but all mountain. The lowlands are all private, and mostly populated by California bunny huggers. Not alot of access in the valleys. Good luck yourself!

Hi Rainshadow1

The diffuser red lens is for close brush and thicket, trees bunched, the light is spred over a wide angle, wont scare the coyote in close surroundings or Burn them by the intence red light of a standard red filter.............

Have a Happy New Year. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif.........
