Stripped lowers in stock?

Is it just me or has this election year got everybody crazy. Finally got a few buddies to break down and decided to get AR15s but doesn't seem to be any stripped lowers in stock anywhere. Anybody else running into the same issue?
 
It's not just the election. CA's assault weapon ban starts Jan 1. Also no more mail order ammo to CA starting dame day. CA is gonna be buying up AR build parts and hoarding ammo regardless of what happens in the election.
 
I went to the gun show in Indianapolis yesterday. With the upcoming election and the possible implications I was expecting lowers to be everywhere.

There were about 5 booths the had stripped lowers. All thought they were pretty special by the price.

I was wanting to pick one up, my first, before the election. I have 2 gun shops within 75 miles that have a good number of Anderson and Aero for a good price.

I got talking to a guy at a booth that was selling Aero's for $15 more than I can get them locally. He was wanting $80 and would not come down on the price one dime. I told him I could drive an hour north and save $15 and he said that he had sold 20 on Gunbroker the day before for $90 + $10 shipping. Also stated that they can barely keep them on the shelves and they are ordering trucks at a time.

I'm sure most already know this, as I figured as much, but I thought it was interesting to hear it come from someone selling them.

I found the local guys by doing a search on Armslist. Might get you a few options. If you don't mind driving a bit to save a buck.
 
The local Rural King farm store still seems to have a steady supply of Anderson stripped lowers for $60 a pop. I'm willing to bet that supply dries up pretty quickly as we get closer to the 8th.
 
Lowers have been in short supply for the last 6months, relative to the demand. It may be tough the next 6months, regardless of the outcome of the election.
 
I just bought a stripped Aero last week at a local shop for $69..they told me as soon as this batch was gone the next batch would go up $5 a piece since they will be paying more for them(but they didn't say they would be impossible to get or try to instill some fear in me) they also had color filled Spikes for $99, I also bought a stripped RRA for $149 a few weeks ago, I knew I would either be buying a Coyote or Predator Pursuit upper and wanted it to be all RRA.

5.56 Non-Recip type? Most likely within the next week or two. You can sign up for email notifications on the website. You can always checkout online and do in-store pickup online if you won't be able to make it in for a while. I believe we have some coming down the pipe soon.

Side-Charge uppers are back in stock, for the time being.
