Stuck case remover tools.

Having "SOME" stuck cases? What kind of case lube are you using?
I've had exactly 1 stuck case in 25 years of reloading and that time I was trying out some Hornady One Shot. Switched to Imperial Sizing Wax and haven't had anymore.

You can make your own and not spend a lot doing it. All you need is a drill, bit, tap, bolt, washer or two and a socket to use as a spacer. I think I saw a post on here somewhere on how to make it. You really don't make anything just getting together what you need. I put together my own last year and it works great.

The RCBS stuck case puller works fine. At the same time doing a proper lube job prevents this probablem at least most of the time.
BTW I've stuck 2 in roughly 40 years of reloading. Both about 15 years ago. I now use Hornady Unique Case Lube. Applied to every 3rd case.

Yep no problems when i would roll it on a pad. But like Houser i tried hornady one shot and its seems fussy on the coverage. I think its back to the pad. \
Thanks for knocking me over the head houser, simple parts no reason i cant make my own.

A cheap solution is to drill your primer pocket with a .201 drill, tap it with a 1/4-20 tap and use a socket that will rest on the die face and pull the brass by putting a 1/4-20 bolt through the socket and into the brass. It will pull right out. That is basically what the stuck case remover kit is but alot of folks have all this stuff right at home.

Had my first stuck cas the other night, and used the RCBS stuck case remover tool. Very easy it took about 5 minutes to remove the case. It includes a drill bit, tap, allen wrench, screw, and a cap to go over the case. You probably have all the stuff you need for the kit laying around.

I made my own after using Hornady One shot. I just never had luck with that product, I will occasionally spray case mouths with it now.

I made mine out of a pipe cap that fits over the die. Drilled a hole in it big enough for a 1/4-20 bolt to go through. #7 drill and a 1/4-20 tap, maybe a few washers and your good to go. Oh yea, you'll need a 1/4-20 bolt also.
