Stupid Sons Of Guns!

I sold my Plumbing business in 2009 and then went to work at a friends gun store in Arizona for almost two years on trade. By that I mean I was paid in store credit, it was a fun way for me build the gun collection, have a relatively stress free job until the money ran out and I could decide what I wanted to be when I grew up.

I'm glad I did it but I can say now with 100% certainty that I would never work in a gun store again.

From the customer side of the counter I use to think it would be so easy to be positive and treat customers like I have my entire life in different customer service related industries.

Man, gun store customers are a different breed. From know it all's to idiots and tactical chuck norris ninja's it sure made me miss my plumbing customers.

As far as "Sons of Guns" is concerned, its television and entertaining. What more do you need?

I was at a local class 3 gun store last week and saw a modified saiga 12 ga shotgun SOG did with suppressor.

WHAT A PIECE OF MANURE

the welds were horrible, the folding stock hit the charging handle, there were cut marks and on and on.

according to the gunshop owner, the person who bought this gun waited 18 months for it, put 20 rounds thru it and brought it in to sell.

He should have demanded his money back.

Over 2K for a SA shotgun that retails for about 400 bucks unmodded would be grounds enough to not want anything less than perfection.

Tell him to call Red Jacket and demand a refund or for it go back for furthur work.

That stuff is unacceptable.

The daughter claims to have quite a fan club due to the show. Maybe Droopy is a fan?
 
Well, one guy is complaining about the tv show, then the other guy is complaining about the guy complaining about the tv show.

He could have changed the channel, and the other guy coulda just ignored the thread.

Irony, get it now?
 
Oh I got it. That was called sarcasim, lol. It's as bad as the guy that reads a 3 page thread only to post at the end that it's stupid and he hates reading threads like it.

You guys see that junk mount they made for that taser under the shotgun? I could of made one with a hack saw that looked better.
 
I would keep the same girlfriend. Men need time alone sometimes and being out in the brush with some cold steel between your hands is better than having your old lady right next to you asking you why it is so cold. An occasional outting with the lady friend in the wild is a good thing, but for the most part...THAT IS MY TIME!!!
