Having good results with 4.2gr of Trailboss behind a 69 SMK out of a bolt action 16 inch 1:7 twist barrel suppressed. Remington 223 brass and CCI BR-4 primer. I don't have a chrono but figured it's close to around 1000fps. 3/4 inch group at 50 yard zero and baseball size group at 100 yards with a 2mil elevation hold. ymmv. I have not experimented with any other component combinations...

I have loaded and fired several hundred using 55 gr SP and 3.1 gr of TiteGroup(Hodgdon Data). Stupid quiet in my RARR and my .30 cal. can. Sat a gal down at the 100 yd bench and as a newbie she put 9 of 10 rounds on a 2" steel swinger. I also use this load to kill gophers in a horse corral for a rancher, the horses hardly mind, watching me take out the little diggers.
