suggestions for an air rifle to shoot squirrels in the yard?

how can you quiet down a benjamin pumper I love mine its over 50 years old and still killing crows and everything else on the back yard safari

Case in point as to the longevity of the old Benjamins/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I thought I had seen Benjamin pumpers with cans on them in the past, though I'm not entirely certain of that. I would call up Mac1 himself, and ask him if it is indeed do-able, and what it would entail.

until you throw money at it and get obsessed any of those guns will do. Make sure you buy it at a store with a GREAT return policy!!!

Some of those sub $100 spring piston guns shoot great and some don't. you might get a "monday gun" or a really good one.

I've always liked the Bnejamin pumper rifle's power and all but I hate pumping them up.

those squirrel don't always die in a convenient way so you still have to have shot placement or giant globs of lead.

Got more ground squirrels at 70, 88 and 90 yards with my whisper deluxe. I done it enough times now to say that if I grab the right pellet and the wind stops I can drop em from 70 to 96 yards. I don't even care if I miss cause they aint gone too long and it's alot of fun takin long shots with a pellet rifle.
