Sunday was a great day of coyote calling for us!

We ended up getting 6 coyotes, 3 with shotguns and 3 with a rifle. We hunted from first light to almost dark. It was foggy and overcast all day long.

On the first stand I killed a big male with my shotgun as it ran right by my X-24, a few minutes late a female coyote stopped and looked towards my X-24 and JP7mag dropped her with his 243 Win.

On the next stand JP7mag used his rifle again at about 100 yards away to drop another coyote.

We had about 4 or 5 blank stands with no coyotes showing up and then had another coyote show up and JP7mag put it down with his Win 243.

On our last stand of the day JP7mag killed a coyote on a farm road with his shotgun at about 40 yards away. About 5 minutes later another coyote walked up the dirt road and sniffed at the dead coyote JP7mag had just shot so JP7mag also shot that coyote.

We didn't move these coyotes for this picture, this is the way they were laying after they got shot.

So JP7mag killed 5 coyotes and I killed the rest of them.

The first 4 coyotes were all shot after playing Foxpro's Ravens and Jack Rabbit sound with Jack Rabbit sound before and after the Raven and Jack Rabbit sound. Having Ravens circle over your caller and squawking and making noise is like having flying decoys over your Foxpro.

Man, you hunt some pretty diverse terrain. Some of your pictures are beautiful looking mountains and these, flat as a pool table. I'm pretty envious.
Nice job too.
