Suppressed AR opinions on Gemtech

I peeked at the SAS website. Nice site. You are right those are good prices on the Titanium cans. Anyone out there shooting a SAS?

You're going to LOVE your 762. I just picked up my stamp from my FFL yesterday and ran out to give it a try. I have a 20" Rock River LAR-308 and a 18" midlength AR-15 that I used it on. The noise reduction is absolutely incredible. I hear more spring noise than anything else. There is still the bullet/sound barrier noise, but it isn't a whole lot louder than a 22lr rifle. Totally hearing safe.

I bought mine over the phone on December 14th, it got in to my FFL around the 3rd of January and dropped of the Form 3 at the sheriffs that day, picked up the form 3 from the Sheriff on the 10th, couldn't get my finger prints done till the 24th. They cashed my check on January 31st and I got a call from my FFL while I was on vacation around the 15th. Overall wait was almost exactly 3 months. Of that time, there was about 3 weeks that was all my fault for not being able to get away and get prints/waiting for the Sheriffs office to call instead of calling them after a couple days.

It seems that they're getting a whole lot faster these days with the Form 3's.

you mean the form 4... form 3 is the tax exempt transfer of firearm and registration to SOT (special occupational taxpayer) and most form 3 are fairly consistent from manufacturer to manufacturer right @ about 3-4 weeks... unless you are an SOT then of course it would come directly to you instead of your FFL.

Who was your examiner?

LOL everyone has different theories on how examiners get assigned. I have heard first letter of your last name most. Lets test your theory. I'm from Nevada, so who is mine?

BTW, I just read over my post and it could be interpreted as that I am poking fun. That is not my intention.

Who was your examiner?

The FFL I bought my Suppressor from says he always has the same examiner for all of his Stamps. Like each shop has their own reviewer.

No any ATF item that is purchased at his shop (Mid County Gunshop) goes to one certain reviewer. So im told, I know nothing about it, my first ATF item.

Mine is N. Dudash.

Like I said, everyone has their theories. I heard it is by the first letter of the FFL's business name. My FFL is Bargain Pawn.

Who knows.....but its an interesting way to help kill the THREE or more MONTHS to get your stamp.
