Suppressor baffle strike maybe/maybe not

I am having a little trouble with erratic accuracy while using my Gemtech Trek. I dont think I have a baffle strike but take a look at the pics, maybe someone has more experience. Gun shoots great without it. The barrel is a Blackhole weaponery .75 in diameter. Gun shoots different each time out with the suppressor on.

The first pic is suppose to have that notch in it. I looked at my buddies it is much cleaner and crisp but I have used mine more on a short barrel AR. It is only a few weeks old I didnt notice the problem until the temps went down. The shift can be as much as a foot from day to day.

doesnt really look like a baffle strike but theres alot of carbon built up that needs stripped out. how about the end cap? that is where i see the most problems. a bullet that just barely touches the end cap destroys accuracy and is inconsistant.
 
Call Gemtech. They're great with their customer service.

How many rounds? SBR's are notorious for blasting that first baffle pretty hard and wearing it out.
 
Doesn't look like a baffle strike to me. I had it happen and I heard the difference and the bullet didn't hit the target at all. There was metal missing in my case. If in doubt for safety's sake send it to gemtech. I sent mine in and they had it back to me in 8 days. Good customer service.
 
If you hit the first baffle, you'd probably be missing the end cap by the time the bullet got out the end. Something else is amiss if your changing POI that much without changing anything else.

I had a 22lr can that the bullets were kissing the end cap and they were all over the place, 5-6 foot spread.
