Surplus Ammo & Arms

I have a complete mil-spec lower that just sitting around doing nothing. I was wanting to know if anyone has used a Surplus Ammo & Arms upper. My dad has one and is happy with it.

I would suggest looking at JSE surplus. You could save $50 or so... I have one of their 16"ers and have been very pleased with it's functioning and accuracy.

waiting to receive the one we ordered from surplus, we ordered this same upper and it shows that it will arrive this wed. I beleive you will find JSE out of stock on just about all uppers, at least they were when I checked last week

I just bought a DPMS upper 5.56mmx45 from MidwayUSA for $399.99 amd I think $14 shipping. Real nice.

Blopez50, what kind of accuracy is your dad getting with that upper? I did go to JSE and they are about out of everything that I was interested in. I guess things are going to get scarce. The shop that has that upper had it for $405.00 and it might not be there now.

He's not an accuracy shooter.... It hits bowling pins and he's happy with that. Honestly I think just about all of the "surplus" uppers are gonna be pretty close to the same. A different name on the same product. I would bet that if you handload, you can get it to shoot an inch without much trouble.
