Swarovski Owners, Reticle Question

I'm just about done with my scope upgrading. I purchased a couple of the Zeiss Conquests in the last 2 weeks but the Swarovski Z3 3-12x50 keeps calling out to me. My question is about the reticle differences at night between the BRH and plex reticles. I would guess since most shooting at night is from reasonably close ranges the plex would be they way to go. However, I'll still hunt during the day and this scope will probably be on my 22-250 so a longer shot will be possible.

I've looked through a BRH reticle and I'm just curious if anyone has one and has hunted with it at night? Wondering how visible the reticle is and if its not too cluttered to make things confusing in the heat of the moment? I like the BRX reticle but its so thin I think at night it would be hard to see.

I have 4 of them and while I've never used them at night, I wouldn't be afraid to. Most times there's a spot light involved and that really helps. Unlike the rapid z from Zeiss, I dont find the BR or BRX reticles cluttered.

Since you will probably shoot more in the daytime it would be worth going for it anyways.

I've ran the Z5 with the BRX reticle, the BRX is quit a bit thinner than the BRH, which I actually prefer, especially for hunting... the glass is great, and you will have no problem in low light conditions with this optic.

I have a Z3 3-10 with the BRH and I haven't hunted it at night but I wouldn't be afraid to. They are very nice glass for the money. Not quiet on par with my Z5 3.5-18 but it is better than my conquests. Don't know if this helps but that is my experience.

I keep looking at the Z3 but have been also contemplating going a bit higher in my spending to $1500 or so. I outfitted the .22 mag with a Conquest 3-9x40 and the RRA with a Conquest 3.5-10x50. Believe it or not this scope will go on a 22-250 Savage Edge so the scope will be 3-5 times the cost of the gun. But it shoots too [beeep] good to replace.
