I am not the best at skinning coyotes yet and always seem to mess up somethin when I am skinning them. I am thinking about getting my next one mounted. I was wondering if taxidermist would acutally skin the coyote if you take the whole body in? Or is there another way I should go about it? I would just like a shoulder mount. I do not have that much experience in predator hunting till lately and do lack skills in skinning. I know barely anything about the taxidermy buisness so any help would be appreciated. thanks

Unless you know what you are doing, most taxidermists would rather do the skinning theirself.
But, if he/she has the time and inclination, and you want to learn, ask to sit in so you know how next time.
Also, freshest is bestest. Get it there as soon as you can, same day, if possible. They will appriciate that. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
