Will make a good pair with the mkIII 60mm at longer ranges as well as for short range work on a 300blk lobbing 220gr subsonics dropping like crazy.

With the MKIII using the stadiometric range finder the size of the critter can be estimated as well if you know the yardage. A cow laying down at 1500yds looks like a hog in a planted field 7-800yds away. Ranging target with LRF then using stadiometric you can get size of critter and decide if the critter is what you think it is.

I just put mine back on rifle and have been killing pigs like crazy ! perfect for those 200 yard long shots on coyotes also !

Have the mk2-35 on a gas gun and mk3-60 on a bolt gun, I have shot runners at 50yds with the mk3-60, its very do-able. I probably won't be using the mk2-35 much anymore. FOV is not an issue when you have a dedicated scanner.

It's all relative depending on the ranges you are hunting at. This is shooting runners with a 35mm Mark III. FOV with a 60mm would have been too tight on the hog that came by at 15 yards.
