I drove down through there last summer on the motorcyles. Very pretty area I thought. Wide open. Didn't see a lot of sign on critters, but there is suppose to be Elk and Deer in the area. We were in a condo up the road in Aarguard (hope I spelled that right) and we heard Yotes while we were sitting in the hot tub sipping on the grape juice. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I head up north in July for P-Dog hunting. You can't shoot gunnersens prairie dog until July in area 10.

Hey Vooster. Stayed in Apache Junction and Gold Canyon last December and looked around for the same thing. Tried to buy real estate there but too expensive. Headed down toward Florence and saw a lot of territory to hunt as well out to Globe. I don't know the area very well, but they looked real good. By the way:How do afford a house in Gold Canyon?
