For back pack tents I have used northface for about 20 years the one that we use most is a 2/3 man tent no way you would want 3 in it but it is ok for 2 these tents have seen major weather in the form of high wind (one wind storm the wind was picking water up on the creek about 10 feet into the air) and nonstop rain on some of our sheep hunts. sometimes snow, but ussualy not much, the most was about 8 inches. I would buy another one if I needed one.
