I too had a great experience with Boondock. Jeremiah is a great guy to work with. Mine was on backorder and I still had it with 10 days.
 
I am thinking I may need to spring for one of the Scanpro's myself. Still using my old Boondock hat with the clamp on top.
This looks like a better mosuetrap.

If he's got what I'm looking for I usually order it from him.
Venatic, if you're still using the old EWT 100, or similar, in the hat mount, you've missed the boat. The new LED scan lights blow the old models away. No comparison.
