The best electronic decoy ?

I'm hunting yotes, but really want to get into bobcat.

I'm looking at the following

Jack in the box by fox pro
whirling woodpecker (outfoxed products)
predator enticer (come a live)

I have a decoy heart already...

I'm thinking the enticer and woodpecker are the better of the three. The jack in the box would be good for yotes but for cats I'm thinking the bird and the enticer.

Any of you have experience with these?

Thanks,
Talisman

I have a foxpro jack-in-the-box and I really like it....they are suppose to have diffrent tops to put on, but Im not sure if they have them out yet..You can call mike or email him and find out.......stump

Stump49,

How much does the jack in the box weight? I think some of the other rig's are much lighter, but this could work against a guy also if he wanted to set up a turkey dek.

Hey Talisman, We used the new mini extreme this year, and had great luck on cats. I think there are 3 or 4 cats on Volume 2 that stalk within 10 yards of it. I like it because the movement isnt as threatening as the predator supreme. We have had a cat or 2 hang up when they saw the supreme. The mini doesnt move nearly as fast or erratic. They seemed to really like it. Give it a look.

Jeff,

My gut was telling me what you just said. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

Also I read a book a ways back where some famous bobcat hunter out east said one of the best ways to get a cat was to put toilet paper on a twig then use fishing line back to you with a string and move it.

From what I've read cats like to stalk something and if you don't give them a target your very likely to never see them. I figure the enticer is probably one of the best for that, I wish you could use the remote one with the Foxpro gear instead of the loudmouth.

Thanks!

The Whirling Woodpecker decoy is hard to beat. It’s light and compact. I cane make about five or six call with only 1 AA battery. I got it toward the end of the season here in AZ used the woodpecker decoy with a Johnny Stewart squealing bird tape and called in 8 bobcats and I don’t know how many yote’s. I just got their bobcat blaster tape, It sound like it is going to be an excellent call; I can’t wait to try it this fall. The one thing I’ve found when calling bobcats is to call for at least 40 min. with the call at a low volume and ignore all the coyotes that come charging in, be patient!

I ordered the whirly woodpecker decoy tonight!

Can't wait to try out this one.

Hey any of you own a predator enticer?
