The Evolution of Barrel Cleaning

Just ordered some of those VFG pellets from Brownells. Going to give them a shot. I'll echo what others have said: great article, well written. I think it's great when an off-the-shelf cleaning product, such as CLR, is reviewed and actually works.

thank you!

that was the part i have been scratching my head over to figure out through the years.

ive never considered that its not the cleaning rod itself but contaminates ON or imbedded IN the surface of the rod that are the problem.
