THE GREAT CALIBER DEBATE 7MM VS 300WIN

I have a friend that has the Sendero in 300 and it is considerable heavier to carry and longer than my Ruger 300 RSAUM but it is also more manageble for recoil than my short light Ruger. Darn thing kicks like a mule but if you can stand it it sends them down the tube with the very best of them. When you are on an animal you dont even notice it when the adrenaline takes over. As far as the 7mm I sold mine, just felt that the 300 was a little more of an all around big game animal and didnt see a need to own both. I think either is a winner though.
 
Ihave bothe the 300 Win and the 300 RSAUM. I like the Winny better. I cant get the RSAUM to shoot worth a darn, Its a Rem 700. Had a gunsmith work on it, and he told me to get rid of it. I like the SAUM cartridge, but not the 700 rifle.

I kept my 7 Mag.
