The law states it is not legal to hunt from a vehicle.

Just remember, it's not illegal until you get caught. Heck, those game wardens need to sleep too. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

No Thanks, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I'll follow the rules of "The Big Game" as some people call it! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

It just makes for a more challenging hunt! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

They don't have a sence of humor when it comes to poaching. I like my truck too much to get it involved in illegal activity.

RezDoggin, I'm sure you can shoot coyotes and prairie dogs from your truck in NM, for more info call the G&F. You are right about night hunting for coyotes only.
SRS1, It's never a good idea to break the law, even if the law is a stupid one.
You are advocating hunters to be poachers, maybe that's not what you ment, but that's the way we read it.

BTK,
Yes Sir, you are very right. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif I finally got a hold of a guy at the G&F and he did confirm what you stated. Whats funny is it took awhile to get a confirming answer. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif Some people werent too sure but they finally found someone who could give a definate answer. Thanks for the info. Always good to know the do's and dont's!
By the way have you ever got out at night with a full moon and hunted fox or bobcat? If so was it very productive?
